Sharifa Ben and her son Shabir construct a toilet on the beach outside their home in the fishing village of Randhbhandar. The village does not receive any Government services. Women must walk 5km for water and there is no government school. Sharifa Ben got a Rs.25,000 loan (in her name, not her husbands) from the NGO Ujass Mahila Vikash Shaghatan. This was used for the repair of a boat engine.
