People from the Parsi caste shelter from a rainstorm along an embankment surrounded by land flooded by the river Ghaghara...Flooding along the River Ghaghara on July 29th forced the evacuation of people from the villages of Para and Reta in Barabanki District, Uttar Pradesh state. Residents, all of them from the Parsi scheduled caste, are now living in make-shift homes on an embankment 1km away.
