Polio has left Bikhabhai, age 44 years, unable to walk without the use of a stick. He was able to apply for a new style govt disabled bus pass through the Mahiti-Mitra centre in Samakhiyali. Without this service he would have been expected to travel a return journey of 200km to the district headquaters in Bhuj. The Mahiti-Mitra centre provides disabled people like Bikhabhai information about their rights. Photographed on a govt bus in Samakhiyali.
