A family from Juna Bhander. The Juna Bhander fishing community have been able to campaign for their rights and access services thanks to UNDP-supported Mahiti-Mitra. Only after a 45 day protest outside the Mundra magistrates office was Adani who run the neighbouring SEZ port forced to provide Juna Bhander an access road around the Adani private airport. Mahiti-Mitra have also organised a fish-production company which will see a two to three-fold increase in average household income.
